Its defining feature is a 90mm-tall eye port — larger top-to-bottom than comparable Arai models — which uses a GP-5W-exclusive shield and gives the vertical field of view favored by stock car, sedan, and rally drivers; a peak is available for drivers who run without a shield. Ventilation uses two large intake ducts and two exhaust ducts shared with the GP-5 PED. Cheek pads are removable, washable, and replaceable in optional thicknesses for a custom fit. M6 threaded washer\/nuts are pre-installed for head-and-neck restraint anchors. Certified Snell SAH2010.
