Arai CT-Z Black Frost Motorcycle Helmet

The Arai CT-Z in Black Frost is a plain finish with no graphic, laid down in Arai's matte frost rather than gloss. The CT-Z's defining feature is visible in profile: the dual-pivot shield rotates up and back to tuck under the adjustable peak, keeping the peak profile low. The fixed Air-Wing at the rear and the DF-11 diffusers with their larger vent toggles read as form against the flat finish. Brand new and never worn (new old stock), this helmet comes exactly as received, fully preserved in its original packaging with all included accessories.

The CT-Z is Arai's cruiser and touring open-face helmet, replacing the XC-RAM, with an Intermediate Oval fit that sits slightly toward the rounder end of the range. Its dual-pivot shield rotates up and back to tuck under the adjustable peak, keeping the peak profile low to reduce drag and bucketing at highway speeds. The FCS (Facial Contour System) cheek pads wrap under the jaw for support over a larger area, with a full-coverage EPS base, noise-absorbing foam and removable covers, and the liner is fully removable and washable. A fixed Air-Wing reduces lifting at highway speed and DF-11 diffusers carry larger vent toggles for easier operation. Built on Arai's cLc (Complex Laminate Construction) shell. DOT and Snell M2010 certified, made in Japan. Note: Snell M2010 has been superseded by newer Snell standards; this helmet carries the certification current at the time it was built.
