Super Complex Laminate Construction (SCLC) Shell
Lightweight yet exceptionally strong, the Quantum-2’s fiberglass-based SCLC shell uses Arai’s proprietary aerospace laminate technology — the same construction once reserved for the RX-7 race series. Designed for maximum energy dispersion through strength, flexibility, and structural integrity.
Organic Shell Profile
A naturally contoured, aerodynamic shell cuts cleanly through the wind to reduce buffeting and drag, keeping the helmet stable and “still” even in turbulence.
Hyper-Ridge Reinforcement Band
Distinctive reinforcement ring along the lower shell adds strength and lowers the helmet’s center of gravity, improving balance and comfort while maintaining shell thickness to the very edge — a detail many others omit.

Advanced Ventilation System

LRS Tool-Less Shield Removal System
Quick, secure shield changes with Arai’s LRS (Lever Release System). Maintains full shell curvature beneath the sidepods — preserving integrity that flat-mounted pod-less systems can compromise.
