The Arai Signet-X in White is a plain gloss white with no graphic, so the Long Oval shell shape carries the whole look. The white runs unbroken over the crown, side pods and rear, and the Signet-X architecture reads clearly against it: the QVF three-position intake ducts across the brow, the QVR exhaust ducts at the rear and the VAS side pods. The Arai logo sits on the brow above the eye port, with the DOT and Snell certification marks at the rear. Brand new and never worn (new old stock), this helmet comes exactly as received, fully preserved in its original packaging with all included accessories.
The Signet-X is Arai's Long Oval street helmet, built on a PB-ScLC (Peripherally Belted Super Complex Laminate Construction) shell in Arai's R75 shape, smoothed along the temple area to improve the shell's ability to glance off an impact. The VAS (Variable Axis System) shield mechanism lowers the pivot point and uses a dual-function lever that releases both the side pod and the shield for tool-free removal. Ventilation runs through QVF three-position intake ducts and QVR three-position exhaust ducts, with an ES chin cover installed to smooth airflow and cut noise from below. Inside are FCS cheek pads with foam-spring support and emergency-release pull tabs, 5mm peel-away layers at the cheeks and temples, and a fully removable, washable liner. It is Pro Shade System compatible, DOT and Snell M2015 certified, and made in Japan. Note: Snell M2015 has been superseded by newer Snell standards; this helmet carries the certification current at the time it was built.

DUCT VENTILATION
In keeping with the "improve on what works" mentality at Arai, the new QVF & QVR upper ventilation ducts look familiar but offer more adjustment and better flow through performance.
CHINCOVER
The new water repellent ES Chincover comes installed on the Signet-X. Enhancing the Egg Shape of the helmet, the cover smooths airflow, increases exhaust from the mouth area and reduces wind noise coming up from below. Good for both cold and warm weather riding and is easy to remove and reinstall as needed.
ANTI-MICROBIAL
The Anti-Microbial liner material on the Signet-X resists the build up of bacteria and as a result allows your helmet to stay fresher, longer, between cleanings.
VAS-MV PINLOCK ANTI-FOG LENS
The Signet-X comes with the VAS-MV (Max Vision) shield that accepts the new VAS-MV Pinlock lens. The new Pinlock-120 lens comes with the helmet in the box and ready to install.
