Shell & Safety Design
- cLc (Complex Laminate Construction) shell: reinforcement felt layer sandwiched between laminate layers for added strength without heavy weight.
- Organic shell shape design philosophy (smooth, round/egg-inspired profile to help manage real-world impact forces).
- Multi-Density single-piece EPS liner (up to 5 densities in some models) for impact energy management while keeping size/weight down.
- Hyper-Ridge reinforcing band around the base to add strength and lower center of gravity (lighter feel, less fatigue).
Fit Shape & Sizing Notes
- Interior fit shape: Intermediate Oval (I/O) for the Vector series. Helmets sizing
- Micro-fit features (built in):
5mm Peel-Away Cheekpad Layer (fine-tune cheek fit without buying different pads).
5mm Peel-Away Temple Pad Layer (Vector-2 specific extra tuning for temple/side pressure). - Vector-2 liner + cheek pads are exclusive to this model (not interchangeable with other Arai models).
Shield System & Visibility
- SAI faceshield system with a wider field of view:
Shield is 5mm longer on each side + 5mm wider eyeport each side = noticeably increased peripheral vision. - Optional SAI Max Vision anti-fog shield + Pinlock-ready cavity and optional Pinlock insert
Ventilation & Aerodynamics
- ACR-2 rear exhaust vent/wing combo (wind-tunnel tuned; accelerates airflow over shell exhaust holes for improved heat removal).
- ACF-2 front intake vent with a sliding door designed to close the intake opening more completely when shut (including the shell opening).
- Pull-Down Airflow Spoilers to reduce wind noise and help extract hot air from the face area.
Comfort & Removability
- Fully removable liner with a full-perimeter crown pad design for comfort (and washable/replaceable liner concept).
- Removable/replaceable cheek pads with removable/washable covers.
Practical Notes
- Vector/Vector-2 cheek pad install/removal is opposite of other Arai cheek pad types (worth noting for customers doing first-time removal).
